BASIC WILDERNESS SURVIVAL COURSE

The one-day basic survival course is designed for those who want to learn essential techniques for coping with emergency situations in natural environments. During the course, participants will learn how to navigate without using technical devices, build temporary shelters, safely light a fire, find and purify water, and identify useful plants and food resources.

With the guidance of an experienced instructor, you will take part in hands-on challenges designed to build the skills and confidence needed to manage difficult situations in the wilderness. This is a unique experience that allows you to test yourself and learn how to live in harmony with the natural environment.

LOCATION
Forest areas in the Monte Baldo region (Province of Verona), or—upon request—in other areas of Italy.
FIRE
Natural and primitive methods.You will learn the basic fire-starting techniques used by our ancestors.
WATER
Finding and purification.You will acquire skills in locating, collecting, and purifying water.
DISTRESS SIGNALS
In an emergency, it is crucial to know how to signal for rescue using whatever resources are available.
FIRST AID
Sometimes every minute counts.You will learn bleeding control techniques and how to perform cardiac massage (CPR).
NAVIGATION
Knowledge of the terrain is essential in emergency situations.Learning how to read a map and use natural methods to determine your position is a key survival skill.
SHELTER
Build a safe and comfortable shelter using only natural resources or whatever you have on hand.
WILDLIFE
You will learn how to avoid encounters with wild animals and how to behave if you do encounter them.
